Petar Vuceta is an accredited psychologist based in Annandale (heart of Inner West), specialising in eating disorders, trauma, and a wide range of psychological issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, ODD, and personality disorders. He provides compassionate, evidence-based care to support individuals and families towards better mental health outcomes.
Petar is an enthusiastic and engaging psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults and couplease. Known for his ability to build strong therapeutic relationships, Petar brings warmth, energy, and a client-centred approach to all of his work.

Petar has a special interest in working with adolescents and adults who may be apprehensive or reluctant to seek support. He is particularly skilled at engaging individuals experiencing complex challenges, including school or work avoidance, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, oppositional behaviours, and strained family or social dynamics.
Petar uses a holistic, evidence-based approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to suit the individual needs of each client. His therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy, Family Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Play Therapy.
He believes in a collaborative treatment approach, working closely with parents, families, schools, and other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care. Petar regularly liaises with paediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, school counsellors, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and support workers to support his clients' progress.
Petar is also a former tennis professional and has represented New South Wales and Australia in national and international competition. He is a proud supporter of the Parramatta Eels NRL club and his hobbies include tennis, fishing and music.
